Novamind launches psychedelic therapy protocol for frontline healthcare workers

Excited to share that yesterday we announced a new psychedelic therapy protocol called “Frontline KAP” in collaboration with Dr. Scott Shannon @ Wholeness Center in Colorado, to address the widespread stress and trauma faced by healthcare who have been battling the pandemic on the frontlines. Initially, the group-based ketamine-assisted psychotherapy protocol will be available to 40 healthcare workers in Colorado and Utah.

In a recent survey of 7,500 physicians, 64% reported experiencing intense burnout while 46% reported feeling increased isolation and loneliness. Our hope is that Frontline KAP can help target the unmet mental health needs of healthcare workers who have been faced with a tremendous amount of stress, and in some cases, even trauma. Feel free to check out the press release to find more details about the upcoming launch!
